Colton Conkle honored by Ohio House of Representatives
COLUMBUS – Rep. Larry Householder and the Ohio House of Representatives honored a Coshocton County youth who recently won national honors for his basketball shooting skills. Householder, R-Glenford, presented Coshocton Elementary School student Colton Conkle with House Resolution 142 during House session on June 28. The resolution honors Colton who placed first earlier this year in the boys 8-9 age category at the 2017 Elks National Hoop Shoot contest. He made 25 of 25 free throws to win. “I really enjoyed having Colton and his parents at session today,” Householder said. “It’s great to see young people pursue their passions and achieve success.” Colton is the son of Jeremy and Tiffany Conkle, who attended the presentation.
