| September 28, 2017

COSHOCTON – In July 2017, the Coshocton County Commissioners submitted a request for $300,000 in CDBG (community development block grant) Critical Infrastructure funds from the Ohio Development Services Agency for a sanitary sewer improvements project located in the Chestnut Street area in the City of Coshocton.

The project will be designed to prevent sewer backups in residents’ basements, as well as eliminate the large amount of rain water from entering the sanitary sewer.

The Ohio Development Services Agency received 37 grant application requests statewide and awarded 10 successful grant applications.  It is anticipated the project will be ready to bid in the winter 2018.
