Community gathers for National Day of Prayer

| May 8, 2015

DSC_0034COSHOCTON – Pastor Larry Massie believes a revival is coming and what better place for it to start than Coshocton, Ohio. “God uses small things to do great things,” he said. Massie had the pleasure of welcoming a large crowd to the National Day of Prayer event held May 7 on the court square that was organized by Women of Witness and Coshocton Ministerial Fellowship. Massie prayed that God moved amongst those who attended the event and that they all felt his presence while enjoying praise and worship music and praying for our community, nation and other concerns. The Bible also was read aloud by those who signed up to participate in the His Word to the World Bible Reading, there was a children’s balloon prayer launch and a millennials’ prayer.

About the Author ()

I started my journalism career in 2002 with a daily newspaper chain. After various stops with them, I am happy to be back home! I graduated from Coshocton High School in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from Walsh University. I also earned several awards while working for daily papers, including being honored by Coshocton County’s veterans for the stories I wrote about them. I am honored and ready to once again shine a positive light on Coshocton County. I also am the proud mother of a little girl named Sophia!
