Coshocton Chamber to offer Tech classes

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce will be offering Tech Tuesday classes the last Tuesday of each month. The need for technology and how businesses can use it to improve their day-to-day operations changes rapidly. These classes will help small businesses stay ahead of the technology curve or even get them up to speed. The first Tech Tuesday class will be Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 8 a.m. This class will be at the Connect Your Community office located at 238 Main Street, Coshocton. The class will be presented by John Voorhies with the Small Business Development Center. This one hour class will teach participants how to start a basic website. You do not need to write HTML computer codes or be a computer expert. You do not need to spend a large amount of money and costs can be as low as $4.50 a month to host. This class with also teach you how to add content, connect your Facebook and YouTube accounts, embed videos, upload your photos and documents, and increase your presence on the web. The cost for this class is $5 for chamber members and $10 for non-chamber members. Space is limited. Please call the chamber office at 622-5411 to reserve your seat or for questions.
