Coshocton Christian School fall fundraiser to include auctions and ‘Teacher Whack-a-Mole’

| October 25, 2019

COSHOCTON – Coshocton Christian School is pleased to invite the community to its second annual Fall Festival and Auction fundraiser to be held on Friday, Nov. 1 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. in the school gym, located at 23891 Airport Road.

Along with carnival games sponsored by the CCS classes, face painting, balloon animals, a baked goods sale, concessions and snack booths, this year’s event will feature both silent and live auctions raffling off themed gift baskets as well as items donated by individuals and businesses. In addition, a “Teacher Whack-a-Mole” booth will be highlighted where participants can use their purchased game tickets to playfully “whack” their favorite teacher!

“CCS is excited to be hosting the second annual fall festival because of the great success from last year,” said Principal Amanda Hamilton. “The fundraiser was a great success financially, but it also promoted our name in the community and welcomed people into our facility. Our school is a hidden gem with exceptional students, staff and families, and the fall festival is one way to shine our light into the community.”

Besides games like a sucker pull, nerf challenges, corn hole, pumpkin bowling, a toilet paper toss, and an indoor maze, kids will enjoy posing for pictures with the CCS school mascot Wiley the Wildcat. Kids America and the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle will also be operating booths with kids’ activities. Popcorn and baked goods for snacks and a concession stand for dinner will round out the evening.

The fall festival’s silent and live auctions will also help raise money for the school. The silent auction will go on throughout the evening, but the live auction commences at 7 p.m. with Tim Miller from Kaufman Realty and Auctions as the auctioneer. Quite a few baskets and items have been donated for the auctions, and each class at Coshocton Christian School created a themed basket to auction off. Auction numbers will be available for purchase at the event.

Coshocton Christian School would like to thank all those who have donated items for the school auctions, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cincinnati Reds, COSI, Pearl Valley Cheese, Wiley’s Finest, American Health Centers, Advanced Spinal Care & Rehabilitation, WenMar Farms, G.A. Fisher Diamond Jewelers, Cross Improvements, Coshocton Lumber, Wells Snyder Farms, Alyssa Brown (with Lemongrass Spa), Papa John’s Pizza, the Shops of Roscoe Village, and S. James & Son Electric.

Find Coshocton Christian School on Facebook for a complete list of auction items and sponsors. If you would like to donate an item for the auction, contact the school office at 740-622-5052.
