Coshocton Community Choir Bachert Scholarship applications available
Applications for the Coshocton Community Choir Bachert scholarship are now available. Named for Barbara Bachert, one of the choir’s most generous benefactors, the scholarship has been presented annually since 1988 to a Coshocton County high school senior or a current/former member of the community choir to enable further musical study.
The $1,000 scholarship is presented in honor of a retired Coshocton County music teacher or individual(s) who have contributed to the cultural life of the Coshocton area.
The Coshocton Community Choir is celebrating its 50th anniversary this season. Watch for more details about their celebration concert on Sunday, April 24.
Applications for the Coshocton Community Scholarships are due back by Friday, April 8, and may be obtained from local high school guidance counselors or on the choir’s website at www.coshoctoncommunitychoir.org.
