Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office makes changes in 2021
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office has a lot of changes going on. First, it welcomed Sheriff James A. Crawford. He brings a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a new energy to the office that is becoming contagious for all of the employees. Sheriff Crawford made a few changes upon taking office. He promoted Garrison Bryant to chief deputy. Captain Bryant has worked for the Sheriff’s Office for almost 27 years. He started his career in the jail, moving to the road division, detective bureau and was the former sergeant of the detective bureau when promoted to chief deputy.
Beth Walsh was also promoted to administrative services director. Director Walsh has worked for the sheriff’s office for almost 30 years. She began her career as a corrections and communications officer, moving into the jail as a secretary before becoming an administrative secretary in the administrative offices doing accounting and court correspondences. She will continue to perform her current duties along with a few more responsibilities. Lieutenant J.D. Hardway will continue serving as road lieutenant and Lieutenant Chip Udischas will continue serving as jail administrator.
Seth Andrews was promoted to division sergeant of the detective bureau after Captain Bryant was promoted. Sergeant Andrews has been employed with Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office for almost 15 years. He started his career in the jail, moving to the road division until promoted into the detective bureau. Tyler Mann was promoted the detective bureau upon the promotion of Sergeant Andrews. Detective Mann has worked for the sheriff’s office for almost six years. He started his career in the jail and then going to work for the road division.
Anyone needing to get their conceal carry weapon permit or to renew their current concealed carry weapon (CCW) permit, feel free to stop in Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., no appointment necessary. If this doesn’t fit into your schedule, you are welcome to stop in on Monday or Friday. Shelby Morris and Peyton Slusser are happy to assist you with the quick completion of processing your CCW.
