Coshocton Driver Training School opens in new location

| August 6, 2018

NEW PHILADELPHIA – Coshocton Driver Training School is opening a new location, and it’s second in Tuscarawas County, in New Philadelphia. The driver’s education school specializes in training new drivers to develop safe driving habits and strive to assure students are prepared to meet the challenges of driving when they get behind the wheel as a new driver. This is the fifth location for Kenneth and Dianne Koch, owners of the school, who also have locations in Newcomerstown, Millersburg, Dresden and Coshocton. Kenneth is an expert in traffic crash reconstruction and says that a main priority is to use his experience as a crash investigator to create safer roadways by producing better and more attentive drivers.

“Using our instructor’s combined experience to train and educate the new driver to effectively manage basic control of their vehicle, recognize roadway threats, both real and potential, and the appropriate actions to take in case a traffic hazard presents itself is a key to becoming a good driver,” he said.

CDTS also offers adult remedial classes and, for those with busy schedules, an online option is available for teenage drivers and adults who require the adult abbreviated class. For teenage drivers taking any online course, CDTS also offers the driving portion to help meet the eight-hour driving requirement.

The school is located at 1309a Monroe Ave in New Philadelphia, next to Mama C’s and across the street from the BMV and YMCA. For questions or to register for class, call 740-552-1639 or email info@youdrivesafe.net.
