Coshocton Footlight Players to have auditions for upcoming play
COSHOCTON – There will be auditions for the Coshocton Footlight Player’s upcoming play, “Beer for Breakfast” on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Triple Locks Theatre, 411 Hydraulic Ave., Coshocton. Parts are available for three middle-aged males and one middle-aged female.
In this raucous Sean Grennan comedy, a group of middle-aged buddies reunite for a guys’ weekend in a snowed-in cabin to eat chili, drink beer, and re-live the good old days. Despite divorce, unemployment, and a stroke, spirits are high until Jessie, the wife of absent friend Adrian, shows up in his place. An epic battle of the sexes ensues with feats of wit and stamina. Will the men win their right to an all-out guys’ fest, or will the woman take the crown and claim the title of the stronger sex?
Production dates for “Beer for Breakfast” will be March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, and 16 at 8 p.m. and March 10 at 2 p.m. Director of the production is Kathy Reid.
