Coshocton Foundation awards seven grants

The distribution committee of the Coshocton Foundation had its first meeting of Fiscal Year 2022 recently and reviewed 16 grant applications totaling $284,193.52.

The committee awarded seven grants totaling $60,721.20, to numerous community organizations. The grants awarded include:

  • $20,000 to the Ridgewood Local School District to provide support for the Ridgewood Agricultural Education Facility & School Farm Project
  • $16,520 to the Foundation for the Fuse Network: Hopewell; to assist in the purchase of software for efficient client scheduling and logistics
  • $10,000 to Echoing Hills Village, Inc. to assist with the Warsaw campus paving project to improve the driveway and parking lots
  • $6,001.20 to the Jackson Township Fire Department to assist with the purchase of two automatic external defibrillators for the department’s trucks
  • $5,000 to the Coshocton City Schools to assist with adding two new, full-dome programs to the planetarium library
  • $2,000 to Rogue Elephant Productions to support purchases of theatre equipment and for additional production costs for the free summer 2022 outdoor theater at Clary Gardens
  • $1,200 to River View Local School District to assist with the 2022 Challenger Learning Center Field Trip- flight simulation for 7th & 8th graders in college preparatory algebra and college preparatory geometry
