Coshocton Foundation awards six grants
COSHOCTON – The Distribution Committee of the Coshocton Foundation had their final meeting for Fiscal Year 2018 recently and awarded six grants totaling $82,000 to several community organizations. The grants awarded include:
- $46,000 to the Coshocton County Coordinated Transportation Agency to allow for the purchase of Software to Improve Public Transportation options throughout the county
- $12,500 to Coshocton Business Development Foundation to assist in Adding Security Cameras at Coshocton High School
- $10,400 to Kids America, Inc. to support plans for expanded Parking Lot Construction
- $5,000 to the Coshocton County Commissioners to assist with the purchase of Trash/Recycling Receptacles at County Buildings
- $4,500 to Coshocton is Blooming in support of an expansion of community floral displays to include Live Plants & Shrubs for Winter
- $3,600 to the Coshocton County Health Department and Maternal & Child Health Center to Provide for Childbirth Education Classes in Coshocton County
The Coshocton Foundation was established in 1966 and has distributed nearly $8 million in grants to community organizations from its Unrestricted Fund. In addition, the Foundation has 160 Restricted Funds from which distributions are made for specific purposes.
