Coshocton Hospital Arrowhead Clinic welcomes new physician
COSHOCTON – Zane W. Zimmerman, DO, has joined the medical practice at the Coshocton Hospital Arrowhead Clinic, serving the health care needs of families in Newcomerstown and surrounding communities.
Dr. Zimmerman earned his Doctor of Osteopathic medicine from Ohio University in Athens and completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at Clarion Hospital in Clarion, Pa. In his family medicine practice, he treats all aspects of primary medical care including wellness care and chronic disease management. The Arrowhead Clinic is located at 6307 E. State St. in Newcomerstown.
Dr. Zimmerman first served as a physician in Navarre, where he worked in private practice for several years. With his young family anxious to experience other parts of the country, Dr. Zimmerman accepted an opportunity to join the Mango Medical Group in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Despite the beauty and temperate weather conditions in Hawaii, Dr. Zimmerman was anxious to return to Ohio.
“Home to me has always been my family’s farm in nearby Amish Country,” stated Dr. Zimmerman. “When I learned of the opportunity to join the Arrowhead Clinic, we jumped at the chance to return to the place my family will always call home.” Dr. Zimmerman, his wife, Melissa, and four children returned to Ohio in late May.
The Arrowhead Clinic also includes Staci Fellows, NP-C, and Rachel Kanski, PA-C. With Dr. Zimmerman, they provide family medical care to patients of all ages, from infancy through mature adulthood. These providers are taking new patients and offer extended hours and same-day appointments. To schedule an appointment, call the office at 740-498-5515.
