Coshocton in Bloom to announce spring plans at annual symposium
COSHOCTON – Come learn how you can help plant pride in the City of Coshocton by attending the 2018 Spring Symposium. The event is sponsored by Coshocton in Bloom and Clary Gardens and will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 17 at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, 300 N. Whitewoman St.
“The public can come learn about our plans for the year and what our theme and colors will be,” said Dorothy Skowrunski from Coshocton in Bloom.
The suggested themes are: Enchanted Dreams, Above and Beyond, Bright Lights, and Twist and Shout. Vote for your choice by visiting the organization’s Facebook page.
Community experts also will discuss the six America in Bloom categories, which are: Floral displays, landscaped areas, urban forestry, environmental efforts, heritage preservation, and overall impression. This summer judges from America in Bloom will be back in town to rate Coshocton in these areas.
The symposium is free and you can register in advance by calling Clary Gardens at 740-622-6524.
