Coshocton man dies in accident
On 03/04/2025 at approximately 7:16 PM the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident on South 2nd Street, near Clow Lane, in Coshocton.
Upon arrival of deputies it was determined that Douglas Cushman (66) of Coshocton was traveling south on South 2nd Street when he ran off the right edge of the roadway. Douglas Cushman ran through the woodline, down the embankment, and struck a tree.
Douglas Cushman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Assisting at the scene were Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton County Coroner, Coshocton City Fire District, Three Rivers Fire District, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
