Coshocton Regional Medical Center implements visitor restrictions and precautions regarding COVID-19

Effectively Immediately, Coshocton Regional Medical Center will be implementing the following visitation restrictions and precautions at the recommendation of the CDC in an effort to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff and the community.

Effective March 17, Coshocton Regional Medical Center will be implementing visitor restrictions at the hospital location and all clinic locations to:

  • One visitor per patient.
  • Visitors must be 18 years or older (Only children needing medical treatment or evaluation should come to the hospital).
  • Visitors who are not feeling well will not be permitted.
  • Visitation Hours will be limited from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    Additional Precautions being taken at our hospital location and all clinic locations include:

  • All visitors and patients will be screened for symptoms upon entry of the facility and clinic locations. The hospital is following CDC guidelines and screening protocols while maintaining its standard infection control best practices.
  • All patient appointments and services in the hospital and the clinics will continue as scheduled.
  • If you feel you have symptoms of COVID-19 and your primary care provider is located at either the Family Physicians Clinic or Arrowhead Clinic, please call 740-622-0332 to schedule an appointment.
  • The Emergency Department should only be utilized for emergency visits. If you do not have a Primary Care Provider, you are encouraged to call the Nurse Hotline at 740-623-4019.
  • A separate out patient respiratory screening center has been set up at 406 South 15th Street for those who feel they are having symptoms of COVID-19 and do not have a Primary Care Provider. Hours will be noon to 10 p.m.; seven days a week.
  • Individuals that do not exhibit COVID-19 symptoms and do not meet criteria will not be automatically tested for COVID-19.
  • The billing office will be temporarily closed to the public. Please call 740-623-4021 for any billing questions or to make a payment. You can also utilize the online bill payment services at coshoctonhospital.org.
  • At the direction of Governor Mike DeWine, the cafeteria will provide carry out only. Dining in will not be permitted.
  • Coshocton Regional Medical Center remains committed to the continuing good health of the community and is currently focused on both the containment and mitigation of COVID-19. Appropriate resources of staff, clinical partners, space and supplies have been allocated to meet the needs of patients, and adjustments will be made as necessary as we continue to monitor recommended CDC protocols. Working closely with local health officials, contingency plans have been put in place to ensure the safety and well-being of staff, patients, physicians, volunteers and community members who visit the hospital or clinics. To date, we have no cases of COVID-19 in our hospital.
