Coshocton Supply Company opens April 1

COSHOCTON — The Coshocton Visitors Bureau has announced that its updated Tourism Information Center and retail space will officially reopen on Monday, April 1. Rebranded as The Coshocton Supply Company, the site will feature information about local attractions, hospitality, and special events and will include a wide variety of products designed or made in Coshocton County.

“Last year, we greeted nearly 9,700 guests from 48 states and 32 countries at the Tourism Information Center,” said Mindy Brems, executive director. “We believe the fresh new look and beautiful products will attract additional visitors. This will expand opportunities for us to personally welcome guests to our community and share information about the area. We also look forward to engaging area residents who are interested in local products and activities in Coshocton County.”

The Coshocton Supply Company will continue to feature an assortment of Annin Flags which have been a retail mainstay of the Visitors Bureau since 2014. New product offerings include locally sourced home décor, pottery, exclusive tee-shirts, jewelry, soaps and salves, fish oil, honey, maple syrup, and preserves. Suppliers from Coshocton County include Wiley’s Finest Fish Oil, Hillbippie Clay, Mullett Apiaries, Rusty Plow Press, Strawberry Hill Farms, Winding Creek Farm, Found Adornments, Hickish Home & Hubby, Mill Creek Homestead, Wix & Match Candles, and Crow House Pottery.

The Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Coshocton Supply Company at the Visitors Bureau on Monday April 1, at 2 p.m.

“Tourism is a vital component of the local economy that impacts scores of local businesses and hundreds of local residents,” Brems said. “We look forward to continuing our longstanding collaboration with many tourism partners in the community and serving our guests.”

The Coshocton Visitors Bureau works to support Coshocton County’s $56.5 million travel industry through the promotion of tourism experiences, overnight packages, and attractions and to encourage tourists to visit, explore, stay and plan return visits to Coshocton County.
