Coshocton Visitors Bureau receives awards

The Coshocton Visitors Bureau recently received recognition for achievement in print advertisement, brochure/flyer/rack card, specialty marketing, and advertising at the Ohio Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus Star Awards presentation, held Sept. 16 at the Huntington Center in Columbus.

The OACVB STAR Awards (“State Tourism Achievement Recognition”) honor outstanding efforts by Ohio Convention & Visitor Bureaus in their work to market and promote their area destinations and to generate overall awareness of the tourism industry.  Recipients are honored for their innovation, creativity, effectiveness and impact in travel and tourism marketing and advertising.

The Coshocton Visitors Bureau received first place Star Awards for its 2021 Three Rivers Wine Trail Full Page Ad, 2021 Three Rivers Wine Trail Passport, and 2021 Three Rivers Wine Trail T-Shirt & Mail Insert. The 2021 Coshocton Visitor Guide earned second place recognition.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition,” said Executive Director Mindy Brems. “We are grateful for our collaboration with  Rusty Plow Press, Dotson Design Studio and The Coshocton County Beacon, who, along with CVB staff, worked hard to create these outstanding promotional materials.”

The Ohio Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus is a resource for destination marketing organizations in Ohio to maximize the economic impact of tourism via effective communication, cooperative marketing, industry education, legislative awareness, issues management, trend identification, and professional development.
