County board of DD info event planned
In honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness month, ASK Autism and the Coshocton County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold an informational event on Tuesday, March 11. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Coshocton County Career Center.
The CCBDD provides services to those with disabilities from birth through death. Many people in the community are not aware of all of the services they provide and this event will share information about each service.
Information will be shared about early intervention, Help Me Grow, school age services, service and support administrators, community employment, Special Olympics, advocacy and waivers. Presenters include Steve Oster, Andrew Taylor, Charity Simmerman, Heather Hosfelt-Grogro, Shannon Shontz, Toby Collins and Debbie Christmas.
