COSHOCTON – Coshocton County Engineer Frederick Wachtel announced that construction crews will be replacing a bridge on County Road 17 in Bedford Township beginning Monday, July 28. The closure will last for approximately 60 days and then re-open to traffic, weather permitting.

The work will force the closure of County Road 17, approximately 0.05 miles South of State Route 60. Possible detour routes would include Township Road 55 to Township Road 78.

Funding for this project is provided by the Federal Highway Administration and local motor vehicle gas funds.

Coshocton County maintains 275 bridges on county and township roadways. Anyone with questions may contact the Coshocton County Engineer’s Office at 622-2135 or visit them online at www.coshoctoncounty.net.
