County Road 38 closure announced

COSHOCTON – Coshocton County Engineer Frederick Wachtel announced construction crews will be replacing a bridge on County Road 38 in Keene Township, beginning Tuesday, May 29. The road will re-open to traffic by June 15, weather permitting.

The work will force the closure of County Road 38, approximately 0.90 miles northwest of the southern intersection with State Route 83. The detour route for this closure will be State Route 83 to County Road 405 to Township Road 47 to Township Road 47-D back to County Road 38.

This project is part of the annual replacement and maintenance program conducted by the county engineer. Coshocton County maintains 270 bridges on county and township roadways.
