COSHOCTON – The crowd roared as “Midnight Rider” blasted on to the track at the annual Rough Truck competition held at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds on Saturday evening, July 15. The 1936 Chevrolet features a 540 cubic inch engine that boasts 1600 horsepower and hails from Indiana. The truck put the petal to the metal and easily crushed four cars that had been placed on the track for that purpose. The annual event is held by the Three Rivers Fire Department and the Coshocton County Agricultural Society to raise funds. Approximately 40 drivers tested their skills against the newly designed rough truck course.
