Dale Gay PictureDale Gay, 55, of Dodge City, KS passed away Monday June 8, 2015.

He was born in Cherry Point, N.C on November 1, 1959 to Dwight and Esther (Ridgley) Gay. He was a 1978 graduate from Coshocton High School and was the owner of Gunsmoke RV Park in Dodge City, KS. He is also a member of the Joel Olsteen Ministries.

He is survived by his wife Ruth (Scaife) Gay whom he married January 6, 1979; Mother Esther Gay of Coshocton; children Dustin (Dawn) Gay of Barberton, OH and Katrina (Gilbert) Balli of Spearville, KS; sisters Colleen Kirker of Coshocton, Cheryl Osborn and Candy (Ron) Bates both of Conesville; grandchildren Drake and Sydney Gay, Kjersten Myers, Gauge and Gizelle Balli; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dwight Gay.

Dale was a hard worker starting with a newspaper route here in Coshocton. Then Buehler’s Fresh Food Market and Pretty Products. He went on to own and operate Rollie Pollie Ice Parlour in Baltic, OH. Three Rivers Motel & Limo Service, D & R Convenient Express here in Coshocton. In Jan. of 2000 he moved to Dodge City, KS where he bought Gunsmoke RV Park, Inc.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday June 14, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday. Funeral Services for Dale will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Luanne Almack officiating. Interment will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
