Dalton Duane Paisley
Dalton Duane Paisley, 90, passed away on December 17, 2021 at The Laurels of Walden Park, Columbus. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on July 15, 1931 to Dorothy (née Davis) and Dalton Olas Paisley.
Dalton graduated from Coshocton High School class of 1949 and attended Ohio University before graduating from The Ohio State University, class of 1953. Upon graduation, Dalton served as a lieutenant in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Louisiana during the Korean War. After serving four years of active duty, Dalton joined IBM, working in Dayton, Cincinnati, White Plains, NY and Columbus. He remained with IBM for over thirty years retiring as a senior systems analyst.
He is survived by his loving son, Thomas (Amanda) Paisley and his loving daughter Nan (Eric) Brunskill; grandchildren: Elijah and Noah Brunskill; Grant and Alaina Paisley; lifelong good friends Max and Mary Lou Olinger. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, David Duane Paisley.
His family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of The Laurels and DaVita for their compassion and care for the last two years.
Per Dalton’s wishes, private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be at South Lawn Cemetery, Coshocton. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
