Dance benefits Friends of the Parks

| February 10, 2014

COSHOCTON – The sounds of the Lake Park Big Band filled Lake Park Pavilion during the Sweetheart Big Band Dance.

“The evening is a wonderful opportunity to listen to the band, but this year’s dance is a little bittersweet,” said Lori Everhart, director of the park. “Robin Coffman who was instrumental in creating the band and directed it for years passed away. It’s going to be different without him in that first chair.”

A tribute to Coffman was held during the dance.

“We know he’s here in spirit,” Everhart said.
