Dance series to start in the artPARK

| June 1, 2022

Starting with Willie Nelson Mandela on Saturday, June 4, at 7 p.m. the Pomerene Center for the Arts will start its street dance series in the artPARK on Saturdays in June.

CHS alum Tom Davis brings yet another band to Coshocton (Tom has played solo for Rent Parties — brought a jazz quartet for Jazz on the Lawn and his funk band Flogo Shaggins has played twice in the artPARK) — this time with a classic rock cover band with a crazy mashup name.

Wooly Pig Farm Brewery is brewing a special Davis beer to help kick off this new series.

In addition to Willie Nelson Mandela, the lineup includes: Yumbambe Latin Jazz, June 11 at 7 p.m.; TBA Jazz,  June 18 at 7 p.m.; Chardon Polka Band, June 25, at 5 p.m. Since this is a dance series, there will be some free dance classes an hour before the concerts. East Coast Swing, Salsa, Rumba and Polka one dance per week in that order.
