Darren James Ruby

Darren James Ruby, 57, of Coshocton passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his home. He was born in Coshocton on December 2, 1965 to James Robert and Constance (Darr) Ruby, who survive. On March 20, 1999, he married, Theresa (Dunn) Ruby, who survives. He was a high school graduate and went on to work at Cleveland Cliffs, he worked as a scrapman until his retirement. He was a member of the Coshocton Moose and American legion, the UAW as well as the Tuscarawas Coin Club and Boy Scout Troop 402 and 403. He enjoying collecting and trading Boy Scout Troop and Buckeye Lake memorabilia.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Tarren (Megan) Ruby and Kendra Ruby; step children, Jack (Colleen) Dotson and Randell (Tina) Stockton; grandchildren, Cierra Price, Trinity, Rayden, Koda and Salem Stockton, Marissa and Ava; sister, Darcie (Tim) Kierns; In-laws, Kim (Nick) Leslie, Cheryl (Adrian)Andrade, Charles (Carol) Dunn and Timothy Dunn.

Darren is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 3 to 5pm. A memorial service will be held at 5pm with Pastor Linda Danskin officiating.  A cremation will take place with the Miller-Kaser Cremation Services and burial will follow at the North Shore Memory Gardens in Michigan.
