David Raymond Crenshaw

David Raymond Crenshaw, Sr., 56, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022 at his residence following a lengthy illness.

He was born June 11, 1965 in Coshocton to the late George Crenshaw and Anna (Stitts) Crenshaw Davis. He married Barbara Sue (Arrington) Crenshaw, who preceded him in death. He was a former employee of Pleasant Hill Landscaping, where he was passionate about his work.

David loved fishing & camping, mushroom hunting, and anything outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking. He was very outgoing, with great love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Brittany (Jason) Cabot of Fresno, and Samantha Crenshaw of West Lafayette; a son, David Crenshaw, Jr. of West Lafayette; step-children, Rachel Lahna of West Lafayette, and Marcus (Alainna) Lahna of Monroe, MI; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Thayah, Jaycee, Jason, Emma, & Gavin, Raymond & Colt, Tatum & Skylar; a step-granddaughter, Alexus Arrington of Columbus; two sisters, Terre (Rich) Wise of West Lafayette, and Rebecca (Ron) Brooks of Hopewell; his former companion, Deb Lorenz of West Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Jason Casterline of McConnellsville.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Crenshaw; a step-daughter, Renee Arrington; his step-father, Myron Davis; and his son’s fiancé, Tanya Willett.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Steve Young officiating. Visitation is from 4:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will take place at a later date in Owl Creek Cemetery in Knox. Co.
