Dean William Talbot

Dean William Talbot, age 76, of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. He was born on March 31, 1947 in Buffalo, New York to the late Dean and Helen (Koch) Talbot.

Dean graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1969 and worked for General Electric as an Engineer for 40 years before retiring.

On May 14, 1977 he married Patricia (Lubin) Talbot who survives. Dean was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Elks of Coshocton. He enjoyed golfing, music and spending time with his children and grandchildren. While working as an Engineer, he traveled to Switzerland, South Korea and Brazil. He and his wife also traveled throughout the United States. Some of their favorite trips included Hawaii, Yellowstone, Las Vegas, Memphis and many trips to Florida.

Dean is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Talbot; his daughter Erica (Rob) Anton of North Olmsted and his son David (Erika) Talbot of New Albany; two granddaughters Austyn Rose and Edasyn Marlene Talbot; brother Craig (Judy Perri) Talbot of West Chester, PA; mother-in-law Pauline Lubin; and his lovable cat, Cinder.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home with a Christian Wake Service beginning at 7:45 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Thomas Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
