Deanna Rae “Deannie” Turnbull – Sparks

Deanna Rae “Deannie” Turnbull – Sparks, 74, of Coshocton passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark. She was born in Coshocton, Ohio on October 27, 1946 to the late Raymond and Nellie (Gaumer) Turnbull.

Deanna graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1965 and was a homemaker all her life, raising her three daughters.  She enjoyed playing games on her iPad, watching the Hallmark Channel and shopping on QVC. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandson, Connor.

Deanna is survived by her husband George Sparks; daughters Morgan (Lucas) Sabrosky and Meagan Heron both of Coshocton; grandson Connor Sabrosky; sisters Cathy Wright and Betsy McKay; and brother Ronald “Butch” Gaumer; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Deidra Rae “Dee Dee” Turnbull, and her sister Nancy Fry.

The family would like to thank Select Specialty Hospital and Dr. Bermudez for giving Deanna such great care and for being so kind during such a difficult time.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards Select Specialty Hospital; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
