Delores Blanche (Riggle) Lent

Delores Blanche (Riggle) Lent, 90, of Coshocton passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Alter Care of Coshocton.  She was born in Nashport, Ohio on May 29, 1932 to the late Clark and Mildred (Everhart) Riggle.

Delores married Fredrick Allen Lent in 1952. She quit school to go to work.  She was a devoted military spouse and after raising her family, she earned her GED and went back to work in local nursing homes. She enjoyed needlework, sewing, and crocheting items for the home, family, and making many quilts for her descendants. She was an avid reader and listened to country and gospel music.

She is survived by her husband Fred; daughters Ruth Ann Lent, Merry Jane Dillman, and Melissa (Mark) Maxwell; grandchildren Christopher Williamson, Justin  (Jordan) Marvin, Michael VanSickle, Mark (Bobbie) Maxwell Jr, and Megan Maxwell; great grandchildren Caitlyn Williamson, Wyatt (Ice) Williamson, Tristan (Brittany) Williamson, Penelope Marvin, Ashley VanSickle, Ethan VanSickle, Tobias VanSickle, and Conner Maxwell; great great grandchildren Wyatt Jr., Beau, Macyann, and Kohen Williamson; Sisters Janice Honaker and Helen Ormesher, and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her 4 brothers, Clark Jr., Raymond, Donald and Lester Riggle; and two sisters Mary Beth Riggle and Arlene Sprague.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Tuesday December 6, 2022 from 10:00am – 11:00am with funeral service beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Alan Cornelius officiating.  Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
