Denver Edwin “Ed” Fox

Denver Edwin “Ed” Fox, age 84, of Coshocton, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio. He was born on April 22, 1939, in Coshocton, to the late Henry and Annabelle Lee (Shultzman) Fox.

Ed graduated from Roscoe High School in 1958. He worked at Ansell Edmont for 29 years before retiring in 1994. He was a member of Central Christian Church and enjoyed building dog houses, camping boating, fishing, and bowling. He was very proud to have won the Coshocton Bowling Tournament with actual and handicap highs.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Langdon) Fox whom he married on June 27, 1968. Ed cherished her with all his heart and she was by his side when he passed away. In addition to his wife, Ed is survived by his son, Michael K. Fox of Chili, daughter, Angela (Brett) Duhamell of Coshocton; four grandchildren, Nicole (Chuck Hughes) Fox, Joshua Duhamell, Kelsi Duhamell, and Cassidy Duhamell; two great-grandchildren, Remington Fox and Bryson Huber; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Evalyn and Bob Shroyer, and Sandy and Dana Cheney; niece and nephews, Tammy Shroyer, Jim (Kim) Shroyer, Travis Cheney and Nathan Cheney; several great-nieces and nephews; his faithful dog friends, Lodi and Emmy and his feline friend, Mama Kitty.

Along with his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Alan Fox who passed away in 1995.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens in the Mausoleum. The family has requested for everyone to dress very casually for Ed’s services.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Ed’s name to Central Christian Church, The Coshocton Animal Shelter or to the Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.
