Deputies help apprehend driver of stolen truck

On Jan. 7, 2021 at approximately 08:56 a.m. the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office advised Coshocton County Dispatch that they were coming into Coshocton County with a pursuit of a stolen red 2003 Ford pick up truck.

The pursuit came into Coshocton on SR 83 and then turned onto CR 38. The pursuit continued on CR 38 back down to SR 83.  The vehicle then drove through a yard and into a field, which the vehicle stopped and the driver was apprehended.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was a 21-year-old male from the Millersburg area. One of the Coshocton County Deputies did put out the stop sticks, which did flatten a couple of the tires.  Coshocton’s K-9 Unit Henata was there assisting with the apprehension. The suspect was taken from the scene to Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for their charges.
