Deputies investigating assault
COSHOCTON – Deputies responded on Oct. 13, to the 500 block of South Seventh Street in reference to an assault.
Once officers were on scene, the victim of the assault, Jeffery A. Lutgen, 38-years-old and from the Coshocton area, was transported by Coshocton County EMS to Coshocton County Memorial Hospital due to injuries sustained during the assault, which include a large laceration to his abdomen.
Deputies quickly began a search for the suspect who is described as a white, stocky built male, approximately 5’10” and wearing a white tank top and gray shorts.
Assisting the officers at the scene were Coshocton County EMS.
Anyone with information about this assault is urged to contact the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office. This incident remains under investigation.
