Diana Lynn Cox

Diana Lynn Cox, age 67, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House, in Zanesville. She was born September 18, 1957, to the late Richard and Francis (Appis) Walker in Coshocton, Ohio.

Upon graduation from Coshocton High School in 1975, Diana began a career in customer service, working at Pick-N-Save and Walmart in Zanesville. On February 21, 1998, she married her loving husband, Michael Cox.

Diana adored the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, posting pictures on Facebook, and collecting windchimes.

In addition to her husband, Diana is survived by her children, Jason (Sandi) Walker of Cambridge and Kanessha Cox of Zanesville; her grandchildren, Tyler (fiancée Katen) Walker, Madison (Jack) Williams, Abigail Walker, Nathan Walker, and Jaxxon Cox; her siblings, Timothy (Joanne) Walker of Wooster and Jana (Kenneth) Savage of Fresno. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Keith (Dorothy) Wyatt, David Cox, Johanna Cox, Dawn Cox, and Mary (Howard) Fletcher; her best friend, Teresa Brownfield, and her close friend, Elizabeth “Sue” Bailes, alongside several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and several aunts and uncles.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
