Do you remember the day the music died?

| February 7, 2024

Buddy Holly historian Sevan Garabedian is coming to Coshocton to learn more about a concert scheduled for Feb. 12, 1959, that was supposed to feature the performer. Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper, died in a plane crash shortly before the concert, but their tour went on with replacements.

Garabedian wants to hear from anyone that was at the local concert or knows someone who was there. He plans to be at the old Coshocton Armory around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 to speak with people and see where the concert was held.

For more information, Garabedian can be reached at 514-970-1959 or sevan1@sympatico.ca.
