Donald E. Opphile
Donald E. Opphile, 80, of West Lafayette passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday April 23, 2020 with his loving wife and daughter by his side. He was born in Coshocton on August 25th, 1939 to the late Lola (Asher) and Lester Opphile.
Don is survived by his wife Ruth E. (Lawrence) Opphile of whom he married on May 29, 1970, which they would have celebrated their 50th anniversary next month; daughter Jacquelyn Opphile-Jackson; step-son Kim Allen Lawrence; 5 grandchildren Chase Jackson, Paige Jackson, Kendal Jackson, Ricky Lawrence and Shawna Pritchard; twin great-grandsons Isaac & Owen Pritchard; brother Gary Opphile and 4 nephews.
Per Don’s wishes a cremation will take place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. The Miller Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time; an online memorial may be found at www.themillerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Interim Hospice of Coshocton.
