Donald E. Ramsey
Donald E. Ramsey, 88, of Coshocton, OH died Monday, March 6, 2023 at Danbury Assisted Living Facility. Born October 26, 1934, he was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Mildred Ramsey and is survived by his beloved wife Joan (Burt) Ramsey, son Keith, daughter Julie (David) Tousley, brothers Dean, Dale, and David, and grandchildren Christopher, Timothy, and Grace.
A 1954 graduate of Warsaw High School, Don served in the US Navy. He worked at Stone Container Paper Mill for more than 20 years followed by employment with the City of Coshocton. An avid OSU Buckeye fan, Don played basketball, baseball, and softball in his youth, and enjoyed horseback riding and working on his family’s farm. In his later years, Don took up tennis as an activity he could share with his son. Don is remembered fondly by his children for driving them on countless summer road trips to see the continental US.
A private graveside interment will be held at South Lawn Cemetery at a later date for immediate family and close friends.
