Donna Marie Tennant
Donna Marie Tennant, 78, of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. She was born in Barberton, Ohio on Feb. 7, 1944 to the late John and Vivian (Collmar) Sharier.
Donna worked as a cook for a nursing home for many years before working at Kraft where she retired. Donna was described as an ornery woman, “the life of the party,” and was a fun loving person with a great sense of humor. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. She loved to cook and sing with her husband and friends. She played guitar and enjoyed dancing to the “old rock and roll,” and she traveled with the fairs over the years. Donna also enjoyed planting flowers and painting the trees in her yard. She loved reading her Bible and had faith in God. She always made sure her kids knew they were loved.
Donna is survived by her three children, Gary (Terri) Tennant of Coshocton, Renee (Donny) Bell of Coshocton, and Regina (Kim) McMorris of West Lafayette; four grandchildren, Gary, William, Erika, and Leah, as well as 1 great-grandchild Revan Chad Tennant; and siblings, Dwayne (Sherry) Sharier of Coshocton, and Katheryn “Candy” Brooks of Coshocton.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack, Bill, Chris, and John Sharier; and brother-in-law, Donald Brooks.
Per Donna’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. A memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. officiated by Evangelist Lloyd Tenney.
