Dorothy Diane Barker
COSHOCTON – Dorothy Diane Barker, 74, of Coshocton, Ohio died Saturday evening Dec. 30, 2017, at the Signature Health Care Center Coshocton, Ohio following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at the Free Funeral Home Coshocton, Ohio with Captains Tom and Victoria Clark officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born Dec. 22, 1943, in Coshocton, Ohio and was the daughter of Bert William and Phyllis Gayle (Silliman) Darr. She worked at Edmonts in Coshocton, Pretty Products and Longaberger Baskets.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Surviving are three children Richard Barker of Coshocton, Ohio, Melissa (Keith) Phillabaum of Coshocton, Ohio and Tawnya Wilson of Coshocton, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and one on the way; 2 sisters Carol Haer of Massillion, Ohio and Donna Moffitt of Florida and one brother Robert Darr of Akron, Ohio.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter Tracy Lynn Barker, grandson Todd Phillabaum, 2 brothers Arthur and Larry Darr and 2 sisters Norma Jean Newell and Bonnie Darr.
