Together Again

COSHOCTON – Dorothy McPeek, age 95, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Windsorwood Place. She was born September 18, 1922 in Wheeling, WV to the late William John and Charlotte Henry Beneke. On August 24, 1946, she married John Franklin McPeek who passed away on October 31, 2015. She was a graduate of Wittenberg University and later   the owner of Darr Designed Interiors in Coshocton. She was a member of the Coshocton Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. She loved to play bridge and golf and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends as well as traveling the states.

She is survived by her two sons, William Worthing (Linda) McPeek of Richlands, NC. And John Scot (Shelley) McPeek of Coshocton; three grandchildren, Ashley Nichole (Stephen) Justice of Jacksonville, NC., Ryan Scot (Camille) McPeek of Coshocton and Chelsey Lauren McPeek of Charleston, SC.; step grandson, Jim Medley of Quantico Stafford, VA.; great-grandchildren, Lukas, twins Jaxson and Marcus Justice and August McPeek; one sister-in-law, Lura Lee Gee of Columbus.

Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William John Beneke, Jr.

A private graveside service will be held with family. A public memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Coshocton on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
