MT. VERNON- Dorothy R. (Frazee) Endsley, 91, died Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mt. Vernon.

She was born July 26, 1928 in Coshocton to the late Carl B. and Clara A. (Heffelfinger) Frazee. She graduated from Union High School in 1946.

Dorothy spent most of her life in the Coshocton area. Raising her five children was her greatest joy. In 1962 she bought her Uncle Francis Frazee’s farm near New Castle and lived there 45 years. Dorothy preferred being outside tending to her flowers and walking the farm. She was an avid reader. She wrote poetry and loved to travel. When weather forced her inside, she worked on puzzles at the kitchen table and played cards or dominoes.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Tom) Blanchard of Mt. Vernon, and Jennifer S. Pierce of Coshocton; a son, David (Kathee) Pierce of Ocoee, FL; a brother, Gary (Kathy) Frazee of Coshocton; a sister-in-law, Suzanne Frazee of Gallipolis; her grandchildren, Brian (Jill) Blanchard, Mark (Katie) Blanchard, Noah S. Pierce, Kylie (Chris) Fender, and Stacia Erman; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both husbands, Robert L Pierce and David E. Endsley; two sons, Randall L. Pierce and Martin S. Pierce; and one brother, William F. Frazee.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2019 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will follow in New Castle Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
