Driver of vehicle leaves scene of crash

On April 22, at approximately 7:17 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an accident with injury in the 28000 block of County Road 93 in Adams Township.

Prior to deputies arrival on scene, it was found that the driver of the vehicle had left the scene of the crash in a UTV (side by side). The driver of this vehicle was not located at this time.

Upon investigation, a 2003 Toyota sedan was traveling south on County Road 93 when it went off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected. This vehicle then went across the center line and off the left side of the roadway before striking a tree and overturning. This incident remains under investigation at this time.

Assisting the sheriff’s office on scene was Coshocton County EMS, Bakersville Fire Department, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
