Drug bust suspects released from custody

COSHOCTON – On Aug. 18, at approximately 10 p.m., detectives from the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 55000 block of Adams Township Road 172 in the county of Coshocton.

As a result of this search warrant, a large amount of drugs (including more than 80 marijuana plants), drug trafficking paraphernalia, firearms and a large amount of cash were seized.  Four adult men were also taken into custody during the search warrant.

Assisting the detectives were members of the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) and The Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

On Aug. 20, the four men were released from custody as part of an on-going investigation.

This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
