Edith I. Freetage
Edith I. Freetage, 70, of West Lafayette, passed away at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital on Friday October 18, 2013.
Edith was born in Coshocton on October 27, 1942 to the late Earl and Pauline (Finton) VanSickle.
She graduated from Newcomerstown High School in 1962 and retired as the assistant Librarian at Newcomerstown Library after 37 years of service. She was also a member of the Newcomerstown Moose Lodge.
Edith is survived by her husband Cecil Junior Freetage whom she married in 1974; one brother William “Bill” Vansickle of Newcomerstown; sister in law Debbie (Tracy) Wyler of West Lafayette; nieces Angie (Dave) Shugars and Beth (Rich) Sanders both of Newcomerstown and Lindsay (Jared) Cutlip of West Lafayette; nephews Bryan VanSickle of Littleton, WV and Nathan (Tiffany) Wyler of Warsaw; several great nieces and nephews.
Edith dearly loved her two cats Tabby and Boots.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday October 22, 2013 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Funeral services for Edith will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Lloyd Tenney officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Newcomerstown Library, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
