Edward Eugene Wilden
Edward Eugene Wilden, age 73, of Coshocton, passed away on Monday February 21, 2022, at Altercare of Coshocton. He was born on June 27, 1948, in Coshocton to the late, Paul Benjamin and Margaret Isabel (Holdsworth) Wilden. He was a 1967 graduate of River View High School. He went on to work at Stone Container for 38 years until his retirement. On March 8, 1986, at the Trinity Episcopal Church, he married Cathy (Byerly) Wilden, who passed away in 2017. He and Cathy loved traveling to Florida. He was a avid sports fan, watching any sport and sports team.
Edward is survived by his children, April (JR) Good Darner and Phillip “Marty” (Leslie) Wilden of Virgina; granddaughters, Ashely, Gabby, Maura and Grandsons, Nick, Cody, Cory and Chase; brothers-in- law, Bud (Pat) Byerly, Jim (Pam) Byerly; sisters-in-law, Darith (Tom) Lacey, Denise Gagliardo and Shelley (Jack) Low as well as his dog, Skeeter and granddog, Cooper.
Along with his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by daughter, Annie Wilden; grandson, Wyatt; brothers, Gary and Paul Wilden and aunt, Norma Wilden.
Per his wishes, a cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be on Saturday February 26, 2022, at 5 pm at the Moose Lodge of Coshocton. His ashes will be laid to rest in Florida.
