Elaine E. Rohrer
Elaine E. Rohrer, 68, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2023. She was born in Coshocton, Ohio on February 2, 1955, the daughter of the late Egbert R and the late Beatrice E (Halladay) McConnell.
Elaine was the loving wife of Thomas Rohrer for 50 years; beloved mother of Adrian (Mary) Rohrer; cherished grandmother of Madeline Rohrer and Thomas Rohrer; treasured sister of Mark (Martie) McConnell; fond aunt of Kitty (Ben) McConnell, Cory (Kristin) McConnell, and Lorin McConnell.
Elaine cherished the time she spent with Madeline and Thomas, her grandchildren. She loved moving to Oak Park, allowing her to have more time to spend with family. As a traveler with her husband, Elaine visited more than 50 countries and loved learning about all the various cultures. Of all the places she lived, Elaine loved the time spent in Taiwan the most.
Elaine earned her BA Degree from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. She did volunteer work assisting underprivileged students in Kentucky and orphans in Taiwan.
A graveside service will be held in South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton, Ohio on August 12, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
