Elks makes donation
Every year the Ohio Elks Association provides financial aid to assist local Elks Clubs with the care, treatment, training and rehabilitation for individuals with Cerebral Palsy in treatment centers throughout Ohio. Coshocton Elks Lodge 376 sets out coin banks for members to donate to this worthy cause. The state Elks association contributes the maximum amount they can to help with the donation.
“This year we were able to meet our goal of $10,000 enabling us to award Echoing Hills Treatment Center with a check for that amount,” said Mike Wilson Exalted Leader of the Elks Lodge. “We are glad we were able to help out. Because of our members contributions to the coin banks it helps us to be able to do this. Echoing Hills has an outstanding program. They do a lot for our community and state.”
Wilson and Steve Good, lodge secretary presented the check to Angie Jorden, director of community relations and development for Echoing Hills.
“We are so blessed and so grateful for the friendship we have had with the Ohio Elks Association over the years. They have made dreams come true for thousands of campers and we know we could not do it without them. Together we are celebrating hope and inspiring life,” Jordan said.
