Enjoy the Clary Gardens Scarecrow Trail

| October 4, 2018

COSHOCTON – The Beacon’s Read Weekly is making his second appearance at the Clary Gardens Scarecrow Trail. Last year he promoted tourism in Coshocton County. This year he is a farmer who stepped out of the fields for a while to help The Beacon celebrate 10 years of sharing positive news with the community. Be sure to snap a selfie with Read and post it to Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #CoshBeacon. The Clary Gardens Scarecrow Trail is free and open to the public for the entire month of October. Businesses and organizations pay a fee to setup their scarecrow and all proceeds go toward children’s garden improvements. Clary Gardens is located at 588 W. Chestnut St.

About the Author ()

I started my journalism career in 2002 with a daily newspaper chain. After various stops with them, I am happy to be back home! I graduated from Coshocton High School in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from Walsh University. I also earned several awards while working for daily papers, including being honored by Coshocton County’s veterans for the stories I wrote about them. I am honored and ready to once again shine a positive light on Coshocton County. I also am the proud mother of a little girl named Sophia!
