Eric Travis Babcock
Eric Travis Babcock, age 48 of Coshocton, passed away at home with his family by his side. He was born on February 15, 1976 in Coshocton, to Joseph and Ann (Saperito) Babcock, who survive. He attended Ridgewood School District. He was a former employee of the Coshocton Walmart where he worked for 15 years. On September 19, 2004, he married Stephanie (Van Atta) Babcock. He was a member of the Coshocton Nazarene Church. He loved his Hot Rod truck and spent time restoring it with his father. He was a collector of anything from the 80’s era that even earned him his nickname Prime. He enjoyed Christmas trees and asked others to share photos of their trees. He kept a tree in his room year-round.
Along with his wife and parents, he is survived by his son, Clay (Victoria) Parks; grandchildren, Aimee Ryan, Isaac and Elijah Parks; brother, Clayton Babcock; brothers-in-law, Rob (Leann) Van Atta and Tyler Van Atta; mother-in-law, Bess Van Atta; nieces, Taryn (Danielle), Emma, Liberty and Maleia Van Atta; Nephews, Devon, Tristyn, Branson, Tressel, Lincoln and Levi Van Atta as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kacee Parks and grandparents, Francis and Minerva Saperito and Robert W. and Kathryn Rose Babcock.
Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 5pm to 6pm. A memorial service will be held at 6pm with Pastor Rocky Tidd officiating.
