Escape rooms for teens to be hosted by libraries

| October 17, 2018

COSHOCTON – Coshocton Public Library and West Lafayette Branch Library will host three escape room events for teens in grades 7 – 12. On Oct. 18 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the West Lafayette Branch and at Coshocton Library on Oct. 29 from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. or from 6:45 – 7:30 p.m., teens are invited to the reveal of R.L. Stein’s new Goosebumps book. As everyone arrives, something goes terribly wrong, the book goes missing and everyone is trapped. It’s up to you and the others to solve the puzzles to find the missing book and escape. Do you have what it takes?

An escape room, also known as an “escape game”, is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints, and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the rooms, and escape.

Registration is required for the escape room events at the library and the branch and space is limited.  Call 740-545-6672 or 740-622-0956 or go to http://coshoctonlibrary.evanced.info/signup/Calendar to sign-up.
